For the trip to Pier 20 in Westport we always have a pit stop in Montesano. The Chevron station is a good place for coffee, gasoline and a bathroom stop. Montesano makes for a good break before heading south to Westport or north to the clamming beaches near Ocean Shores, WA, Westport has many amenities we like. There are 2 public restrooms one in Westport just off the main drag, the other right at Pier 20. There is also a small store with a parking lot at the entrance of the pier. The store will rent gear and the parking lot is for visitors. On the piers there are plenty of bollards to tie your gear too. If your hands or gear need a quick rinse there are many garden hoses on the piers to rinse gear. Just know the hoses probably belong to the boat owners.
